It’s so comfortable! Initially, I feared it would either be too soft or too hard. It was perfect! I slept like a baby last night! I’m only about three months pregnant, but I have difficulty sleeping and getting comfortable at night. Once I saw this and read reviews, I decided to give it a try. IT’S AMAZING!!!!! I love it. My husband is happy I can sleep now, lol. I would suggest you purchase this pillow!

This is a 5-star review, among others, from a happy expectant mother about the PharMeDoc Pregnancy Pillow.

In general, many male and female amazon reviewers agreed that this pregnancy pillow exceeds more than satisfying pregnant women but those with body aches.

Asides from its fascinating wonders to the body, it is pretty affordable and suits people on a budget.

The PharMeDoc Pregnancy Pillow comes in a conventional U-shape when you attach the extension to your bed. This means that the pregnancy pillow will not fall off your bedside and will stop rolling off in the night.

Also, you won’t have to bother about the pillow moving when you want to sleep facing the opposite side.

Furthermore, its unique “U” or “C” shape supports the head, neck, back and hips.

I’ve done the research and found out what women/users think about the PharMeDoc Pregnancy Pillow. So, find out what you should look for when purchasing one by reading the following information.

What Is the PharMeDoc Pregnancy Pillow?

PharMeDoc Full Body pregnancy pillows are C-shaped polyester fibre-fill pillows with covers made of cotton or cotton jersey. However, you can order extra covers.

During pregnancy, this pillow serves as a substitute for multiple pillows since it can wrap around the body of a pregnant woman and support her head, neck, back, and bump, as well as align her knees at the same time.

Additionally, it can help her stay comfortable after the baby arrives and into the postpartum period.

Who Makes PharMeDoc?

Since 2013, PharMeDoc has been producing beddings and fitness lines to help people live healthier and more balanced lives. The brand targets both work and recovery and rest to support their customers.

Thus, PharMeDoc offers products like bed pillows, pregnancy pillows, seat cushions, and fitness equipment like foam rollers, yoga blocks, and massage therapy balls.

What I Love About the PharMeDoc Pregnancy Pillow

The U-shaped or C-shaped full-body pillow is a popular choice for pregnant women.

Pregnancy’s most critical period for comfort and relaxation is when your body is growing. These mattresses provide additional cushioning to nearly all body areas and keep your growing body neutrally aligned, preventing stiffness and swelling.

A PharMeDoc full body pillow is an orthopedic and pregnancy pillow shaped like a C that supports the head, neck, and back, as well as between the knees. You can also use it to support your stomach – flip it around so the long side is facing you, and you can support your growing belly with it.

Polyester fibre fill makes up the filling. Like stuffed animals, the stuffing in this pillow is light yet tightly encased in the casing so that it provides sufficient support and comfort.

Before getting a PharMeDoc pillow, I struggled with using a so-called pregnancy pillow. Even my husband, who used to use it, sometimes complained about the full-body pillow not reaching his knees due to his height and the pillow’s short length.

The PharMeDoc pregnancy pillow solves that problem since it bends upwards to my stomach while still fitting comfortably between my legs.

One of my favourite aspects of this pillow is the machine-washable zippered cover. When necessary, you can easily take the cover on and off. Also, I like the fact that replacement covers are available to anyone.

I’ve seen a few different forms of care instructions. Although it is recommended that it be air-dried, I believe an instruction footnote on the PharMeDoc website says the product can also be tumble-dried low. The cover turned out fine after I cleaned and dried it both ways.

The versatility of this pillow makes it ideal for pregnant women and those seeking full-body supports (both while sleeping and awake).

As it is, it aids in keeping me propped up on the couch and helps prevent me from rolling over at night. I’ve also used it to support my knees when I’m on the couch or in bed.

PharMeDoc Pillow Key Features

Full Body Support

With its detachable extension, this customizable pregnancy pillow adapts to any sleeping position.

It’s a great pillow, whatever your reason to sleep on it might be, whether you’re pregnant, nursing, recovering from an injury, or suffering from hip/back pain, fibromyalgia, or sciatica.

Both the “U” and “C” shaped pillows are available in one size of each. The dimensions of the former are 53 x 31 x 7 inches, while that of the latter are 57″ x 30″ and 7″ in-depth. This makes them an effectively tall and supportive pregnancy pillow.

The U-shaped design provides optimal support and comfort for the back, hips, legs, belly, and head.

Super Soft Material

The PharMeDoc pregnancy pillow contains a polyfill blend that provides soft comfort with increasing support density as you apply weight.

Zippered Pillow Cover

These pillows come with a 100 percent jersey knit-cotton cover which is both super soft and highly durable.

Double-Stitch Seams

Our experience with most body pillows has been that they repeatedly rip at the seams. But the PharMeDoc pregnancy pillows are likely to remain durable as they are double stitched at every possible point.

Machine Washable Cover

Keeping a body pillow clean is easy with a removable zipper cover and machine washing. The pillow cover will remain soft and comfortable after over 300 washes.

Versatility

PharMeDoc pregnancy pillows discourage the use of multiple pillows. Also, use this pillow for reading, watching TV, and working on your laptop while sitting upright in bed. Furthermore, it functions well as a nursing pillow.

Colour Varieties

Another fascinating feature of the PharMaDoc pregnancy pillow covers is that they are available in various colours (white, pink, and grey), so you can pick what colour suits you. Also, you can get additional covers from the manufacturer website, Amazon or other online and offline retailers.

Adjustability

Although the C-shaped pregnancy pillow is advertised as “adjustable,” I could not find a zipper or opening from which I could access the pillow’s filling. However, you can find the feature in the U-shaped model, which allows you to add or remove a certain filling amount.

Cleanable

The cover on this pillow is removable, which makes it pretty easy to clean. Simply unzip the cover and hands wash it or toss it into the washing machine for a fresh look. Also, the removable pillow cover is dryer-friendly, making drying effortless.

The care instructions for each available cover may differ; therefore, check the pillow tag for a cleaning guide before you wash and dry.

The stylish PharMeDoc pregnancy pillow travel bag lets you take your pillow on a trip and feel comfortable wherever you go.

In addition, it also serves as a storage bag, making storing your pillow easy. You can store your pillow when you aren’t using it, which is excellent for saving space.

In a Nutshell

If you are on a budget and looking for an easy but effective C-shaped pillow to support your body during and after pregnancy, I recommend the PharMeDoc pregnancy pillow.

The pillow has ample length for taller women, the fibre filling stayed in place for the length of my evaluation, the cover is removable, and it can be machine washed.

The fact that this type of pillow offers so many benefits for pregnant women or anyone who needs extra support makes me think that it is a true asset for many people.

PharMeDoc Pregnancy Pillow Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Is U shape or C shape pregnancy pillow better?

As mentioned above, U-shaped pillows provide comfort on both sides of you, so your belly and back are both supported. But, they can consume a lot of space on your bed. A C-shaped pillow is better for some, but it won’t provide as much back support as the  U-shaped model.

When is the best time to use a pregnancy pillow?

As far as when you need to or must use a pregnancy pillow, there is no set period. In brief, when you find it challenging to change your sleeping position during the night, you should start using one. In most women, this happens by week 20, when your belly starts expanding.

Why do you place a pillow between the legs when pregnant?

Placing a pillow between your legs will make sleeping on your side more comfortable and reduce back pain, regardless of which side you sleep on. Most companies make pregnancy pillows in U- or C-shapes to make sleeping on your side more comfortable.

Is a pregnancy pillow necessary?

Despite not being a “need,” a pregnancy pillow still isn’t a luxury item. It’s something that can boost your energy, speed up your recovery, and increase your flexibility as you move.

Can I sleep on my back while pregnant?

Side sleeping is recommended during pregnancy because it provides the best circulation for you and your baby. You can sleep on your back at the beginning of pregnancy, but back sleeping can cause problems as your pregnancy progresses.

Is a pregnancy pillow necessary?

Even though it’s not a “need,” a pregnancy pillow isn’t a luxury item. It’s something that can help you have more energy, more stamina, and more flexibility as you move throughout your pregnancy.
